Reverie turned her gaze to look at Kace, "Then I won't get a scratch on me," She promised before narrowing in on the hunters base.
"Then he'll be good at getting his power back at least," Requiem teased. Taking out his phone he texted Kace if Reverie was "over it," But not a moment after hitting send he heard a massive crash, at first mistaking it for something Mary somehow did, but it was too distant for it to be her. Listening closer he could tell that the movement upstairs didn't sound human, but one he could easily recognize as Reverie's talons scraping against the floor."Screw it, she can come in, I don't want her trashing the place."
He flexed his hand briefly when he heard the beating against the barricade on their floor before allowing the gate up. He took out his phone, scrolling through the contacts before leaving his moms contact open on the chance that things went south. Looking back up as though he just noticed the sky blue dragon walk in he tilted his head, "What's the matter, no hug to be friends again, for your little brother?" Requiem asked before jumping to Kelly's side as a spiral of fire shot out where he had been standing.
Reverie lowered herself for Kace to get down before transforming back into her human state, "I've thought it over and I'm more interested in a fight, but not with you, with Mary," She said throwing her jacket off and then working on taking her tank top.
"Yeah well- REVERIE!" Requiem scolded, already placing a hand over his goggles.
"What? It's a fight! I'm not going to let some annoying tight tank top get in my way, it adds a whole extra pound," Reverie scoffed, but finally rolled it back down. "You think I have a point about the tank top don't you?" She asked, turning to Kace.
"You DON'T have to answer that!" Requiem said, cautiously lowering his hand from his face.
Reverie turned to Kelly, "I would never disobey an order, but she's a mass murderer, a threat to every life in this city, how are you okay that she's not going to be executed?"
Tara's expression changed from dread to giddy excitement. She had never been so excited to see water in her life, but hey, that was better than her plushies being burned! Once the water hit the flames Tara quickly ran through them with Phantom's hiveminds picking up any stray plushies, but one last one stayed with Sivik waiting patiently before grabbing Sivik and rushing through the parted flames with him to ensure he crossed.
"Wow, we make a great team!"
Tara giggled, rolling onto the grass with joy, "Teheh, yeah Phantom, but Sivik's the one with amazing luck! I can't believe that happened to be there."
Phantom's hive mind members turned to look at Tara at the same time, "We didn't say anything."
A blinding light shined from the water gun, it's light source moving from Sivik's hand to the ground materializing into Cherub. Her long, past the waist shimmery blond hair sprawled partially onto the ground as she sat back in the grass, her fists curled neatly over her skirt, "I don't think we've ever gotten to talk much before, I'm Cherub! And-"
"FAMILIAR!" Tara shouted before throwing a round pink tabby kitty plushy in the air and hitting it with her currently, on safety, chainsaw like a bat right at Cherub's face who quickly caught it before the cat plushies claws could scrape up her face. Tara was already hiding behind Phantom's hive members, which wasn't a bad idea, they were essentially human shields.
"I didn't come over here to do harm," Cherub promised, still trying to hold back the plushy from clawing her face.
