Continuing This THREAD )
- At Starbucks -
"No! If you were forced to be my personal sandwich maker it would be more than ten sandwiches a day you'd make. More like fifty. Every time I'd get full I'd just speed up my digestive system so I can eat more. You can't just make me only ten," Green whined.
Reverie had her arm protectively around Kace still and since there weren't any booths even at a giant New York city Starbucks she had just pushed her chair up next to Kace's. Her warmth still spreading to him, but she did seem completely relaxed around Green, just protective as always about him. She had been in her dragon form the entire time since the mission started that it was only now that Kace could see her cerulean blue jeans with one torn open gap at the knee, white tank top as usual followed by a to the elbow black button down shirt spread open and wore yellow heels with matching yellow earrings and necklaces. She was actually a bit colorful today instead of her usual washed out colors, it was almost a bit jarring to see her look so different.
"What if she wouldn't stop shocking you till you made ten sandwiches?" Reverie asked, playing along with Green's idea.
"Then I guess I'll die having made ten sandwiches. Tens my limit," Requiem said as if this were an executed fact and there was no way around it.
Green's expression soured as she looked back at Reverie thankful for her at least trying to support her idea of forcing Requiem to become her personal sandwich maker. But then watching Reverie a beautiful idea came to her mind. Pressing together her best smile she focused the conversation somewhere else, "Y'know all I'm saying is that Mary's a threat, she has hurt and killed a lot of people. It just seems like... At times you protect her. Like tonight, you chose to attack me when I was going to finish off her entire organization. They did just kidnap Kace not even an hour ago."
Reverie's eyes narrowed at Requiem.
"Hey you stole my kill too, I couldn't let you one up me like that," Requiem said casually. Really it was a bad day considering Mary just easily got away even when they were at their best and Green was trying to stir things up.
Suddenly a Starbucks employee walked over to them, "Um, excuse me, someone bought out the whole place for the evening, we're going to have to ask all of you to leave a bit early."
"They can stay."
The sickeningly sweet voice was easy to distinguish as Mary who stood not far from them with the rest of the MDO's. Truthfully she was fixated at this point about going to Starbucks and she'd be damned if anyone was going to stop her. If the hunters wanted to relax here, that was fine with her so long as they didn't ruin her experience of getting a hot chocolate and cinnamon roll. With no taste buds, all she really had to enjoy food was the texture.
